Anniversary

I cannot believe it's the middle of October already. I am WAY behind on card creations. I feel a bit bad that some peeps are going to be getting last-minute cards from me this month...oh well. I whipped this simpleton up in about 5 minutes with my scrap pile and a couple punches.

supplies: CTMH Cardstock (olive, chocolate, colonial white); Archivers CS (pink); CTMH B&T paper; SU punch (eyelet border); Marvy punch (heart); CTMH ink (petal); CTMH stamp set (Say It In Style-retired)

Market bags

YEAH! I finished sewing a handful of market bags so I can do my part in minimizing the use of plastic bags. These are the ones I sewed with brown thread. The next batch will be white and/or black thread...haven't decided yet. I picked up fat quarters that were on sale and end cuts from the bargain bin at Hobby Lobby. Gotta love a good deal. They are quick and easy and pretty cute, if I do say so mayself. =)

Been slacking

Okay, so I thought that I'd have all kinds of extra time after getting my Masters and no longer needed all that study time. Well, I've discovered I WAS WRONG!! There are all kinds of things that have been keeping me on my toes for the last year. I NEED to start posting and getting some projects out there. I will do it...just have to decide when...HAHAHAHA...soon, k?

Etsy stuff

Okay, so I've only posted two things on Etsy. Not much, I'm thinking I'll track these to see how they go before I spend a million hours (and dollars) posting all the stuff I've made. Regardless, I wanted to share the two things currently for sale at the paper parlour Etsy shop.

This little guy is contains a lump of coal. (We all know someone who deserves one of those for Christmas, don't we? Haha)

And the infamous perpetual calendars that are like the Energizer bunny…they keep going year after wonderful year.

That's it. Two things, but officially Etsy merchandise.

Blogging and Etsy Land

Yes. I ventured into the world of Etsy. If you have not heard of it, it is an amazing place loaded with handmade items and brimming with creativity. I almost do not even feel worthy to post some of my items for sale, but I’ve started. So far, I just got the shop set up and a couple things posted. I’m excited to get more on there. I think after I get this blog rolling, I’ll start posting some of the items I make and post for sale at my Etsy shop. Oh, the name of the shop is the paper parlour, and can be found here.

How’s THAT for a couple big announcements?!?! Now, how to get people to visit both…hmmm..
